Using Counter strike source patch

If you have CS:S installed, then extract the map file to the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\*YOUR USER NAME*\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps

Then, the next time you start counter strike, click create server and make sure your downloaded map is there, and you should be ready to play it
