KASPERSKY AVG NOD32 AVAST

KASPERSKY AVG NOD32 AVAST ~ All About Music And Technology A reasonable solution to the age old question of which is the better antivirus???

There are quite a few antivirus softwares available but only some of them seem effective. I've tried a large number of antivirus software, Norton, Mcafee, Kaspersky, Bit defender, Avg, Nod32, Avast to name a few. I've classified the antiviruses into the following categories based on my experience.

The sloths : Norton & Mcafee slow down the computer tremendously, I haven't found them effective either. Frequent interruption for seemingly basic operations is another pain.

The nimble : Kaspersky & Bit defender are very good as they come up with updates regularly hence they are very effective. The interface is simple and neat which adds to the convinience. They don't slow down the computer.

The ugly : Nod32 seves the basic purpose of warding of viruses but it has a very boring and dull interface. If you don't mind the soporofic looks, it makes a very good antivirus.

The average : Avast and Avg both would suit a home desktop not connected to any external networks as they generally are the last to come up with updates to counter attack new viruses. Avg comes up with a free version, which is not all that bad if you cant shell out the money.

Verdict

Effectiveness : Kaspersky > Nod32 > Bit Defender

Appearance : Kaspersky > Bit Defender > Nod32
